I search thru my soul -while my lows are like cancer
The non-fiction life of a man who banters
I’m my worst enemy (MAN) -I can’t stand it

But I push thru –Praying for god’s help
I’m in too deep -creating my own hell
I gotta stay strong -my son needs daddy’s help
Be careful of what you do & say –one day he might recall hell

Don’t get me wrong – I really love my life –
I gotta great son and a beautiful loving wife
But life on the daily -it can be so strife
No money for the bills… (dam) there goes the lights

Daddy needs some cash -and momma needs a paycheck
Fifth of the month -and the rent ain’t even paid yet
Son on free lunch -& the state can’t pay meh
Cloudy with a chance of grind –unless someone saves meh

Life’s catches up -and it moves to fast
it got me trippin wishing -I could get it all back

or maybe just another test from god -cuz we go way back

Another year older and dealing -with the same shit
Same money same clothes, another state claims meh
Nothing but Flashbacks -got me going crazy

Maybe….. things are gonna change
I sold a few beats -and the streets know my name
My passion runs deep -like Escobar and cocaine
But I keep it legal -cuz my music -be my dope game

Life is short and my days be long
Rip big stripe, my brother and my moms
Just another thug life written on a song
A one man army so I gotta keep it strong
